Monaco Telecom was created in 1997 following the government's decision to privatise the Principality's incumbent public telecommunications operator, the Office Monégasque des Téléphones. Monaco Telecom proposes a range of services that make a contribution to the quality life of the general public and the economic dynamic activity of professionals. This approach comes within the framework of a quality of service and sustainable development objective in which every employee participates.
A single brand for our four activities
in March 2007, Monaco Telecom took on a new look with a strategic reorganisation process grouping together its four areas of activity: fixed and mobile telephony, the Internet and television - all under one brand name The purpose of the grouping of activities was to ensure the convergence of technical and human resources to optimise a unique, complementary offering in the telecoms sector.
Monaco Telecom now proposes the best products and services under one brand name. At the same time, the Company renovated its Shop to provide a better location to welcome its clients and guide them in their choices and officially made a commitment in a Client Charter. All the results now demonstrate the success of this transformation. Monaco Telecom recently set up a specific unit in the Shop to look after its professional clients.
A complete, diversified offering
All Monaco Telecom departments have stepped up their efforts to develop new offerings and satisfy all the requirements of their clients. A Prepaid offering, 3G, All-Inclusive Plans, the Box with Internet access and unlimited telephony, Box Vision, the Web Space for the Internet and digital terminal with hard disk... These offerings have struck a chord with users in every area of activity (fixed/mobile telephony, the Internet and television).
49% of Monaco Telecom's capital is currently owned by the British operator Cable & Wireless, 45% by the Société Nationale de Financement, which itself is wholly owned by the Monaco government, and 6% by the Compagnie Monégasque de Banque.
